PADI Rescue Diver and PADI Junior Rescue Diver

Who is it for?

Certified divers  aged 12 and over

Course pre-requisites

• Be 12 years of age or over
• Hold a current, sanctioned CPR and first aid certification
• To participate in the rescue training sessions in confined water only, the student must be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organization
• To participate in the rescue training sessions in open water, and to participate in the open water rescue scenarios, the student diver must be certified as a PADI Adventure Diver who has completed the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive or have a qualifying certification from another training organization

Knowledge development (self study and classroom)

What should you bring?

All equipment is included, you should bring a swimming costume and towel and warm clothing for before and after dives.

Warm drinks are always available and there is a cafe facility at weekends. However, please bring a packed lunch on weekdays

Please bring all academic materials and your PADI log book with you to all sessions

Are there any extra costs?

NO everything you need is included

Other information

The PADI Rescue Diver programme will expand your knowledge and experience beyond the recreational level. You’ll learn to look beyond yourself and consider the safety and well-being of other divers. Although the course is serious, it’s an enjoyable way to build your confidence.

PADI Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies

You are responsible for arranging your own travel to the classroom, pool and dive site.
