The Lake temperature is 3 to 4 deg C at the surface through to the bottom

Visibility is 15+ m

as at 1st February 2012

Today 4th Feb there is an inch of ice across 3/4 of the surface

Open from 10.00 am Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat & Sun for diving and swimming (when it warms up again)

last dive 4pm

Monday & Tuesday - CLOSED

The lake will be closed on WEDNESDAY 7th MARCH due to a funeral

We welcome divers from all training agencies

PADI, BSAC, SAA, NAUI, SSAC, USAC, ITDG and others

With the increase in water table we have a measured 14 meters depth of water. This is deep enough to legitimately conduct most training and recreational dives and conforms to the PADI and BSAC standard that a training dive must be predominently conducted below five meters.

Ask yourself - "Would I prefer to receive training at realistic depths or be left unprepared upon qualification?" and "Is my choice of venue capable of giving me the level of training I deserve?" These should be questions high on your list.
